The Charleston writers' retreat began as some friends who wanted to get together, rent a beach house, and work on their novels.  Over the years, it has developed and grown, becoming a highlight of the year for its participants.

There has been a lot of interest from authors in joining the retreat, so we've created this site so that people can see what we're about and let us know they're interested.

We have space for 12 authors who love romance, laughs, and the highs and lows of the writing process.  Throughout the retreat, we take turns cooking, cleaning up, and running errands in order to keep costs down.  The typical costs for the week are between $500 and $700 US, plus travel.

This is something of an experiment, so we don't know yet how it will all unfold but we'll keep everyone up to date as we begin to plan for next year.  So if you'd like to join us on the beach, please sign up for the mailing list.
